Welcome to The Stables of Fieldcrest!   

Welcome to The Selinsky Family Farm! 

Our farm is located in the Northwest side of Massillon, Ohio between Canton and Wooster,Ohio.    We have easy access to us from US State Route 30, US State Route 21 and Interstate 77.

Tim and Carol Selinsky are owners of the farm.  Our two sons Brett and Jerrod,with their wives, Nicole and Jenny, along with our daughter Shayna... and our grandchildren, make up the core of our family.   Then God gave us six beautiful grandchildren (so far).  They are Garrett, Brayden, Keegan, Lydia, Colton, and Kane.  They are all busy with their own lives,  but help us at the farm whenever they can.  Our children were raised with horses at their Grandparent's  home, and a lot of times, there were a couple horses we would keep for Grandpa Bub at our Hobby Farm.  Our children were very young at that time, but an early love for horses prevailed.  Each of our grown children has some great gifts and are very talented at working with the babies and yearlings.  

We established our breeding farm in the fall of  2005 beginning with building our  "Maternity Barn" with eight stalls.    We  have recently added an indoor riding arena with  ten more stalls, tack room, viewing room, wash bay, and two grooming areas, storage for hay and grain, automatic waterers, and more fenced in pasture.  We pride ourselves in our fine pastures as well as our fine horses. We have Morgans and Quarter Horses.  We are a Breeding Farm for Show Horses.   We are breeding to improve BOTH of the breeds we work with.  Movement, Movement, Movement, Build, Conformation, Size, Pedigree, and Temperament are all  extremely important to us.  

And in the Morgan world, it is known that the Morgan is the horse that chooses You.  Do you prefer Quarter Horses?  Or do you prefer Morgans?  We are thrilled to be promoting the Morgan Breed in Ohio and in the Nation.  We have also shipped to Germany and have a Quarter Horse in Switzerland doing outstanding in the show ring.

We have  eight broodmares on location at the present time.   We have had foals in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.  We have pregnant mares due to deliver this next Spring.   Our mares are always bred to the Best Of The Best!  We have been successful in choosing the right stallions to compliment our Mares.    Our continuing efforts have now positioned us to be able to offer  top quality 3 year olds, 2 year olds, yearlings, and weanlings for sale. 

We are extremely proud of our outstanding stallion, Whispering War Chant, who has won Grand Champion Stallion at the Morgan Gold Cup in 2013 for the second consecutive year.  He is only the fourth stallion to do so since 1961.   In addition to his past and present harem, He will soon start producing offspring with our handpicked young mare, C C,  we were so fortunate to purchase last year at the Grand National and World Morgan Show in Oklahoma.  Our New mare, Causing Chaos, after winning Grand Champion 2 year old mare, then Junior Champion Mare..... was then chosen to be the World Champion Mare in 2012 in OKC. WOW!  She is Gorgeous!   We are expecting GREAT THINGS to be delivered at our Breeding Farm.
